Sadly, I no longer get carded at Trader Joe’s while buying Two Buck Chuck. After 18 years of marriage, my husband and I find ourselves finishing each other’s sentences, but still have not figured out how to read each other’s minds. Thinking about dusting off the master’s degree, but after a 12 year maternity leave, I don’t want to rush into anything.
I learned to knit and crochet at the age of 9, and learned to sew not long after. I have been working on a project of some kind ever since, often more than one! Since I began my “extended maternity leave”, knitting has been my main preoccupation. It is portable and it keeps me sane.
When not trying to find the time to cook a healthy meal that everyone will eat (don’t get me started), or get a good night’s sleep, I am keeping my hands busy with my projects, the ever-increasing list of books I want to read, and my garden. I have been blogging since January 2007. If you want to see what I was up to before What Katy Did was hatched, check these blogs.
My Ravelry user name is WhatKatyDid and I am also on GoodReads.
I love comments! I respond to all comments if you include your email.
