Sadly, I no longer get carded at Trader Joe’s while buying Two Buck Chuck. After 20+ years of marriage, my husband and I find ourselves finishing each other’s sentences, but still have not figured out how to read each other’s minds. Have fulfilled the biological imperative and thus my DNA is to continue for another generation. If my teenage son lives to see adulthood (Magic 8 ball says “yes”).
I learned to knit and crochet at the age of 9, and learned to sew not long after. I have been working on a project of some kind ever since, often more than one! During my “extended maternity leave” of 14 years, knitting was my main preoccupation. Still is. It is portable and it keeps me sane, however I have discovered that gainful employment seriously cuts into my knitting time. Trying to decide if it’s worth it. Will get back to you on that.
